KindDose is a gentle medicine reminder. We built it so that it does not collect, store on our servers, or share any personal information.

What we collect

Nothing. KindDose has no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking. We do not run any servers, and the app does not send your information to us or to anyone else.

What stays on your iPhone

To remind you, KindDose saves the following only on your device:

The medicines you add: name, dose, form, instructions, times, and an optional photo
When each dose was taken, taken late, or skipped
Your settings, such as your first name, text size, and reminder preferences

If you use iCloud backups, this data may be included in your own iCloud backup, which is controlled by Apple and your Apple Account, not by us. Deleting the app removes everything.

Camera, microphone, and speech

If you choose to scan a medicine label, KindDose uses the camera and Apple's on-device text recognition. If you choose to speak a medicine, KindDose uses the microphone and Apple's speech recognition, on-device where your iPhone supports it. Photos, scans, and recordings are not uploaded by KindDose, and you always confirm the details before anything is saved.

Apple Health

If you choose to import medicines from Apple Health, KindDose asks your permission to read your medication list. It does not write to Health. Health information is used only to fill in your medicines on your device, is never used for advertising or data mining, and is never shared with anyone.

Not medical advice

KindDose is a reminder and logging tool. It does not give medical advice. Always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions and your medicine's leaflet.

Children

KindDose is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and the date above.
